With over 20 years of experience in general surgery and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, Dr. Sivakumar joined Porunai in the year of 2023. Dr. Sivakumar had obtained his Masters in General Surgery from Tirunelveli Medical College. After being fascinated about minimally invasive surgical techniques, he went on to further study and acquire a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery. He is not only the Head of the surgical division of Porunai but also has taken up the role of the Medical Superintendent of Porunai Hospitals overseeing the entire clinical and academic activity.
